Fhs Lady devils basketball
Winning is a tradition that has been passed down for generations at Fyffe High School. Coach Mike Cochran started the Fyffe Lady Devils' winning tradition, and Coach Tony Bell has continued the tradition. With a total of seven 2A State Championships and 17 DeKalb County Championships, the girls basketball program is taken very seriously at Fyffe.
The Fyffe Varsity girls are coached by Tony Bell and Mike Williams. The Fyffe Lady Devils work hard in achieving their goals on and off the court. The team consists of one eighth grader, six juniors, and eight seniors. This special group of seniors has played basketball under Coach Tony Bell since seventh grade. Each year the Fyffe Lady Devils strive to show leadership qualities on the court and in all areas of their lives. This year, the Lady Devils punched their ticket to Jacksonville by defeating Ranburne. In the first round of the Regional Tournament, the Lady Devils defeated Gaston to advance into the Regionals Finals. In their final game of the season, the Lady Devils placed second in the Regional Tournament. A Fyffe Lady Devils team has not accomplished what this special group of ladies has since 2000.
