The Game Theme for this year’s BEST competition was called GATEKEEPER and mimicks the process and components used to build a CPU for a computer. This year the robotics team had to build a robot to pick up wooden dowel rods, plastic hangers, and shaped foam pieces with wooden handles which represented transistors, logic gates, and integrated circuits to build their CPU.
Fyffe Robotics is looking forward to the 2014-2015 competitions. Please wish the team luck and if there is anyone who would like to donate to the Fyffe High School robotics team please send you donation to Fyffe High School, P.O. Box 7, Fyffe, AL 35971 in care of FHS Robotics.
